We came
first. The team was: - Gil Williamson

An early black flagging set us off several
laps adrift, and in second last place (last place having been black
flagged too). However, we stuck in and clawed back every inch over the
2.25 hours of the race, winning really because we were prepared to
reduce driver changes to the bare minimum. We hit the front about five
minutes from the end. Mark, who collected the black flag, redeemed
himself by doing a forty-minute stint, while Gary sacrificed ten minutes
of his turn to obviate the need for another driver change.
